  • St. Mark's Home has had a tradition of caring for women off all ages for over 130 years. In 1870 Allen Lambard, Esq., purchased the two-story colonial-style house on the corner of Winthrop and Pleasant Street in Augusta. Mr. Lambard deeded it to St. Mark’s Church for the purpose of establishing a home for women.

Today St. Mark’s Home still fulfills Allen Lambard’s practical and farseeing ideal by providing independent, convenient, and secure living for women.
